Conservation groups challenge BLM’s 42 Divide logging plan in western Oregon

Cascadia Wildlands, Oregon Wild, Umpqua Watersheds, and Crag Law Center sued the BLM over the 42 Divide Forest Management Plan near Camas Valley in Douglas County, arguing logging in late-successional reserves violates federal law and increases fire hazard in habitat for spotted owls, marbled murrelets, and coho salmon.
