Get Involved
The Cascadia Movement is built by the people who live here. Whether you have five minutes or five hours a week, there is a way to take part: join as a Member, find or start a local group, work on a shared interest, learn to represent the movement, show up to an event, or support the work directly. Each path is described below.
Become a Member
Membership is the front door. Members sign on to the movement and create an account, which connects them to groups, programs, and the wider network. Join through the support page.
Join or Start a Circle
Local groups are where the movement does its work: building bioregional identity, maintaining maps and educational material, and partnering on local campaigns. Groups grow along a simple ladder: a Circle is a starting group, a Chapter is established, and a Hub is a regional anchor. Find a group near you, or start a Circle of your own, on the Chapters page.
Join a Topic Group
Not every interest is tied to one place. Topic Groups bring people together across the bioregion around a shared subject or craft. Browse and join them on the Topics page.
Become an Ambassador
The Ambassador program is the movement’s education arm. Ambassadors learn together in cohorts, then carry what they learn into their own communities: presentations, tabling, art campaigns, and local connections to regional projects. It is an education role and carries no administrative authority. Learn more on the Ambassadors page.
Attend Events
Events are the simplest way to meet the movement in person. See what is coming up across the bioregion on the calendar.
Support the Work
The Cascadia Movement is stewarded by the Department of Bioregion, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Donations, whether one-time or recurring, fund the programs on this page. Give through the support page, or pick up Cascadia gear from the store.
