Ambassadors
The Ambassador program is the education arm of the Cascadia Movement. Ambassadors learn together in cohorts, then carry what they learn into their own communities: giving presentations, tabling at events, creating art campaigns, and connecting regional campaigns and projects at the local level, all while staying linked to the wider Ambassador and Chapter network.
Ambassadors come from a diverse range of individuals, communities, and causes with common interests. Together they help build a vibrant network of localized groups that educate, build partnerships, host projects, and empower every person to be active about the issues they care about.
What Ambassadors Do
- Give presentations that introduce bioregionalism and the Cascadia bioregion.
- Table at events and connect with people where they live.
- Create art campaigns that make the movement visible.
- Connect regional campaigns and projects into their own community at a local level.
- Stay linked with the bioregional Ambassador and Chapter network.
An Education Role
Ambassador is one of the movement’s defined roles. It is an education role: participants join a cohort, learn together, and represent the movement’s ideas in public. The role carries no administrative authority. Authority over specific projects belongs to Stewards, whose scope is assigned by program administrators.
