The eleventh Turtle Island Bioregional Congress, scheduled for September 14 to 20, 2026 near Port Townsend, Washington on S’Klallam and Coast Salish lands. It revives a continental gathering tradition that held ten congresses between 1984 and 2009 and is returning for the first time in over a decade, hosted this time in the Cascadia bioregion. Framed as a living experiment in bioregional self-governance and a cohering point for the renewed bioregional movement.
