Cascadia earthquake subsidence and flood exposure study

· Tina Dura et al.

Study led by Virginia Tech coastal geologist Tina Dura finding the next great Cascadia earthquake could drop the coastline by up to 2 metres, roughly doubling flood exposure for residents, structures and roads, and more than tripling it when combined with sea-level rise. One of the most widely covered Cascadia studies of the period.
