Thank you to all the Cascadians who joined us in celebrating our first ever Cascadian Culture week! From libraries hosting Cascadia Displays, to barbeques, concerts and events – we had an absolutely lovely week. Our executive director also helped host two ask me anything’s in Reddit, several lovely articles about Cascadia & Bioregionalism, and an interview in the Seattle MET also came out that week!
Here in Seattle, we ended Culture Week with a day of festivities and workshops celebrating our history and moving forward creating an inclusive, strong, and sustainable bioregion that included art making, living painting, music, a Cascadia orientation, panel discussion & Q&A, a chapter formation meeting and direct action training, a presentation by Earthship Seattle and Trash Studios, and virtual reality painting.
