In a recent article called “26 Reasons to Love Portland Right Now,” the Cascadian movement got a major shoutout – along with a humorous recap of the way at least one reporter thinks of the movement:
“No one’s saying soccer is just a cover for bringing down the government, but if it ever falls, we’ll be able to blame the Timbers.”
Cascadia-loving Sounders and Whitecaps fans, we’re sure, will be eager to register their disagreement with such Timbers-centric thinking at upcoming Cascadia Cup matches.
